Halal Friendly Meals & Our Commitment
What Does Halal Friendly Mean?
Clean Eats is not a Halal-certified manufacturing facility. However, we are committed to sourcing Halal-certified ingredients wherever applicable and practical across our meal range.
The meats used in our Halal Friendly meals are sourced from approved suppliers who provide current Halal certification documentation. We also source a wide range of Halal-certified ingredients used throughout our meals.
While we take great care to source Halal-certified ingredients and maintain strict food safety and quality controls, our facility produces a variety of products and is therefore unable to make a formal Halal-certified claim. For this reason, we describe these meals as Halal Friendly rather than Halal Certified.
If you have specific dietary or religious requirements, we encourage you to contact our customer service team for further information.
Our Commitment to Halal-Friendly Ingredients
We are committed to sourcing and using Halal-certified ingredients wherever applicable within our manufacturing operations. Our approved suppliers provide Halal-certified raw materials and ingredients that meet recognised Halal certification requirements.
Examples of Halal-certified ingredients used within our meals include chicken, beef, lamb, dairy products, such as cheese, butter and cooking cream, coconut cream, vegetable oils, seasonings, pasta, rice, beans, peas and sweetcorn, among many others.
All Halal-certified ingredients are purchased and supported by current certification documentation. These ingredients are handled in accordance with our food safety and quality management systems to maintain product integrity and support our statement of Halal Friendly throughout the manufacturing process.
